Kenneth H. Mobley, age 60, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Port Charlotte. He was born on July 11, 1948 in Rockville, MD. Kenny moved to Arcadia in 1979 from Punta Gorda. Kenny was known to be a really great father, grandfather and friend, and will be missed by his family and all that knew him. Kenny served our country in the U.S. Army, 1st Calvary Div. and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid biker and really enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with friends and listening to country music. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer N. (Carl) Keller of Arcadia, Fl .and Tabitha Mobley of Arcadia, Fl one son, John C. Mobley of Arcadia, Fl, wife of 25 years and mother of his children, Sandra Mobley of Crestview, Fl., one brother Billy (Barbara) Mobley of Lakeland, Fl., one sister Patricia Mobley of Gaithersburg, MD and six grandchildren, Caylee, Carl, Zachery, Josie, Jenna and Chris. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter J. and Mary E. Mobley and two brothers, Robert and Walter Jimmy Mobley. Memorial Services and a celebration of Kenny s Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday May 8, 2009 at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.
