Obituary

Kelen Lee Steyer was born on May 14, 1988. He was the proud owner of Zach Attack Septic, a business that not only served the community but also reflected his hardworking nature.

Kelen had a love for the outdoors that included fishing and hunting. This love extended to his home, where he took great pride in mowing his yard and meticulously washing his truck, ensuring that it never had a speck of dirt. Grilling was another one of Kelen's passions, a skill that he often showcased during family gatherings, much to the delight of his loved ones. Kelen proudly carried the title of Morgan Wallen's number one fan behind his daughter Ayvee and niece Kimber, with his music often playing in the background at many of his activities and gatherings.

A family man at heart, Kelen cherished moments spent with his relatives, whether it was hanging out on a lazy Sunday afternoon or watering the flowers planted in his son's Zach's memory. He was the best father, fiancé, son, son-in-law, brother, uncle and friend that anyone could ask for. Always there to crack a joke and put a smile on anyone's face. Kelen's personality could bring light and laughter to any room. If you needed a name to a movie, Kelen was your go to call, able to recite the name of any movie you could think of by simply quoting a single line. It was these simple pleasures that defined the essence of his life, creating lasting memories for all who knew him.

He is survived by his fiancé Linda Gonzalez. His children Talan Lash, Zayden Gonzalez and Ayvee Gonzalez Steyer. His mother Stephanie Steyer (Mackey). And his father John Steyer and Grandma Alice Dedge. His siblings Kyle Steyer (Dora), Kacey Miller (Bryson), and Kaitlin McTaw (Michael). His nieces and nephews, Kimber Steyer, Paris McTaw, Ella McTaw, Navy Steyer, Zyair McTaw, Bodie Miller, Khaleesi McTaw and Luke Miller. His spirit and legacy will live on through them, as will all of his memories. Kelen was preceded in death by his son, Zach Gonzalez. His grandparents, Richard and Jackie Mackey. Also, grandparent, Ray Dedge.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Kelen at the Turner Civic Center on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1-5 PM. This gathering will serve as a testament to Kelen's impactful life, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together and remember a man who made every day count. Kelen's life reminds us all to cherish the everyday moments and the people who make those moments memorable.
