Kathleen Raborn

Kathleen "Kathy" Raborn, 77, of Arcadia, Florida passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026. Born in Travis City, Michigan on August 30, 1949, to the late Lewis and Mary Wediburn Franklin. She was a loving, caring, and hardworking woman who devoted her life to her family and her faith. As the youngest of five children, she held a special place in her family. She and her late husband, Braxton Raborn, moved to Arcadia, Florida, to establish New Testament Baptist Church, a testament to their shared faith and dedication to serving the Lord. She was also a faithful member of Heritage Baptist Church and a devoted pastor’s wife, standing beside her husband in ministry. Above all, she was a wonderful mother whose love and devotion to her family knew no bounds. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially watching and feeding the birds outside her window. She also had a special fondness for clowns, reflecting her unique personality and appreciation for the lighter side of life. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering faith, strong work ethic, kind heart, and the love she shared with her family, church, and everyone fortunate enough to know her

She is survived by her children: Franklin Raborn, Felicia (David) Bedell, and Tonya Rotenberry; Sister: Sara.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Braxton Raborn; and three of her siblings.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026 starting at 2:00PM with interment to follow at Pine Level Campground Cemetery.
