Katherine B. Mulcay (Kathy) passed into her heavenly home on August 21, 2024. She was born in Wauchula on March 2, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Wauchula.

Kathy was a graduate of Hardee High School and the Florida State University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in education. She taught in the Hardee County School system for 25 years where she was honored as Teacher of the Year for the Hardee Junior High School in 1997.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William T. Mulcay, Jr (Bill), two daughters, Kelly (Mike) Lowe of Lakeland and Karen (David) Kelly of Eustis. Kathy is also survived by her pride and joy, her grandchildren: Matthew Lowe, Katherine Kelly, Sarah Lowe, JT Kelly, and Anna Lowe. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Debbie (Jim) Pyle of Wauchula.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., August 24, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sebring, where she was an active member. Reverend David R. Kelly will be officiating.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Internment service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Wauchula Cemetery.
