Juliana R. Barrientoz, age 86, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 in Sarasota, FL. She was born October 9, 1923 in Pharr, TX and moved to Wauchula, Fl. in 1963. Juliana lived in Wauchula until 1997 then moving to Arcadia, FL. 1997. Juliana was a very loving, caring mother and grandmother. One of her favorite things was to spend time with her grandchildren, spoiling them as some would say. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and frequenting the flea markets. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the New Day Baptist Church of Arcadia. She is survived by four sons; Vicente (Melba) Barrientoz of Lake Hamilton, FL, Jose Luis (San Juna) Barrientoz of Clinton, NC, Fabian Barrientoz, Jr. of Almo Gordo, NM and Victor (Emma) Barrientoz of Bishop, TX; six daughters, Susana (Leon) Reynolds of Huntingdon, TN, Margarita Barrientoz of Arcadia, FL., Beatriz (Joseph) Gillians of Avon Park, FL., Maria D. Trevino of Arcadia, FL , Maria Elena (Andres) Vega of Corpus Christi, TX. And Victoria E. Galvan of Arcadia, FL.; one sister, Maria Balli of Mercedes, TX. fifty-eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Juliana was preceded in death by her husband Fabian Barrientoz, I, parents Agapito and Eufemia Cienfuegas Rivera, and three sons; Juanito Barrientoz, Fabian Barrientoz, II and Alejandro Barrientoz. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00AM at the chapel with Rev. Ken Galloway of the New Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Wauchula Cemetery, Wauchula, FL.
