Julia Vernette Adkison Roberts, age 72 of Tampa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 29, 2011. She was born February 15, 1938 to John and La Merle Adkison in Arcadia. She was an Elementary School Teacher, an accomplished singer and ballroom dancer. Her warm caring spirit will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband David Roberts; her daughters Julia Belcher, Catherine Earnest, and Anne Wisniewski; her mother La Merle Keene Ellis; sisters Lena Steinhoff and Jo Ann Loy; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Arcadia, FL at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Wade officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery at 2:00 pm
