Joyce Wilson Nance, age 76, passed away on Monday February 13, 2023 in Arcadia, Florida. Joyce was born December 29, 1946, in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Frank and Lenora Wilson. She attended Fort Meade High School and graduated in 1964, She had lived in the area for 76 years. She was employed by the Hardee County District Schools as a Bus Driver Aid.

She is survived by her husband Danny Wilson Nance of 42 years of marriage.

She is survived by her daughter Frankie Nance of Wauchula, Florida, her brothers Ronald Wilson and sister Judy Osgood.

She has 2 Grandchildren Dustin Scheel, Destiny Scheel, 2 Great grandchildren Wiley Scheel and Waylon Scheel.

She enjoyed Gardening, Cooking, Baking and spending time with family and was involved with Meals on Wheels. She will be remembered as an Role model, the most selfless, caring loving person you would ever meet.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Father, (brother) Dennis, Don Wilson, (Sister) Wanda Mcgee, and daughter Tammy Hancock

The visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023, at the chapel of Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home in Wauchula from 11:00Am -12:00PM.

Graveside services will be 1:00PM at Mount Pisgah Cemetery and burial to follow.
