Josephine Hall, 67, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 18, 1942 in Canoe, KY; the daughter of Elbert Allen and Hazel (Johnson) Allen. Josephine and family moved to Arcadia in 1964 from Jackson, Ky. Josephine was a loving, devoted wife and mother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was a member of Pine Level United Methodist church in Arcadia, FL. Josephine is survived by her husband of 47 years, Herbert Hall; two daughter, Stephany (Rick) Mentzer of Port Charlotte, FL. and Evonna Altman of Port Charlotte, FL.; five sister, Eliza Brown of Somerset, Ky, Sally Holbrook of Norwood, OH, Yvonne (Eugene) Bellamy of Nicholasville, KY, Sheila Allen of Nicholasville, KY and Veronica (Tony) Watts of Jackson, KY; three grandchildren, Cory Mentzer, Hunter Altman and Hollie Altman. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Samuel Allen and J.C. Allen. Visitation will be held from 9:00Am to 10:00Am, Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Pine Level United Methodist Church, 9596 NW Pine Level St., Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 10:00AM at the church with Pastor Charles Watts officiating. Burial will be at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
