Joseph Lee Hampton, Jr. 71, of Arcadia, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on January 14, 2026. Born on August 23, 1954, to Joseph Lee Sr. and Gladys Albritton Cutchen. He loved sports, especially golfing, and was an avid follower of politics and the news. He proudly served in the Air Force, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and service. A devoted fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Gators, he attended the University of Florida and remained a loyal Gator alumnus throughout his life. Known for his generous heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, he deeply loved his family and cared for everyone in general, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife: Lavetra Hampton; Son: Shawn Casey Hampton; Daughter: Lavetra Billion (Larry); Sisters: Margaret Goodwyn and Denise Renee Fennell; Dad: Ralph Cutchen, Grandchildren: Mesqua, Brittaney, Trey, Henry and Jospeh as well as two great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted on February 7, 2026, at Joshua Creek Cemetery starting at 11:00AM with Pastor Ellis Cross officiating.
