Josefina Zepeda de Valdovinos, age 80 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Sarasota, FL. She was born on May 15, 1941, in Jalisco, Mexico to the late Pedro Orozco and Margarita Garcia-Ochoa. Josefina moved to this community in 1998 from Mexico and has remained in Arcadia. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia.

Josefina was a very strong, brave, and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a charitable woman to many and deeply devoted to her faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and often in their hearts and thoughts.

She is survived by her twelve children, Lupita, Chelo, Mila, Fello, Elvia, Juan, Pepe, Orlando, Perla, Sandro, Nancy, and Maris, 37 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

A visitation and rosary will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 11:00 am at St Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia

Josefina Zepeda de Valdovinos, 80 años, fallecio el domingo 7 de Noviembre de 2021 en Sarasota, FL. Nació el 15 de Mayo de 1941 en Jalisco, México, padres Pedro Orozco y Margarita García-Ochoa. Josefina se mudó a esta comunidad en el 1998 desde México y se ha quedado en Arcadia. Era de fe católica y miembro de la Iglesia Católica de San Pablo en Arcadia.

Josefina fue una madre, abuela y amiga muy fuerte, valiente y cariñosa. Era una mujer caritativa para muchos y profundamente devota de su fe. Su familia la extrañará mucho y, a menudo, en sus corazones y pensamientos.

Le sobreviven sus doce hijos, Lupita, Chelo, Mila, Fello, Elvia, Juan, Pepe, Orlando, Perla, Sandro, Nancy y Maris, 37 nietos y 11 bisnietos.

La visitacion y el rosario será el Jueves 11 de Noviembre de 2021 de 5:00 pm a 7:00 pm en la capilla de las funerarias Ponger-Kays-Grady, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.

La misa del entierro cristiano será el Viernes 12 de Noviembre de 2021 a las 11:00 am en la iglesia católica de San Pablo en Arcadia. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio de Joshua Creek, Arcadia.
