Jose Salud Ramos,88, of Arcadia, FL., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. He was born on February 4, 1934, in Michoacán, Mexico to the late Salud and Maria Ramos.

He was a long-time resident of the community and worked in the Agricultural field for many years. He was renowned in his hometown of Michoacán, Mexico serving as the president of the town.

Jose was a role model as a father to his children, teaching his children how a father should conduct himself. He was considered a hero and a friend and was ready always to lend a helping hand.

He was married to his loving wife Consuelo Marron-Ramos for sixty-seven years.

He is survived by his wife Consuelo Marron-Ramos and his children, Lidovina Ramos, Amelia Ramos, Mireya Ramos, Brigida Ramos, Victor Ramos and Lorenzo Ramos.

Jose also had an abundance of loving grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father Salud Ramos, and his mother Maria Mesa.

The Visitation will be Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 11:00AM – 12:00PM at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes Chapel in Arcadia, 50 N. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Florida.  The Funeral Mass will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 1:00PM, burial to follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
