Jose Garza, 71, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Bowling Green, Florida.  He was born in McAllen, TX on January 4, 1954, to Jose Eliborio Garza and Narcisa Espitia.

Mr. Garza lived in Bowling Green.  He retired from Publix.  Upon retiring he enjoyed staying outdoors and enjoyed cooking for his family.  He, also, enjoyed fishing with his grandkids and spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife Angie Garza of Bowling Green, one son Jose Garza Jr of Orlando, Florida, and 4 daughters Aurora Garza of Bowling Green, Norma Garza of Zephyrhills, Angel Valadez (Lee) of Lakeland, Florida, and Narcisa Garza of Houston, TX.  He has one brother Maximino Garza from Midland, TX, and 1 sister Licha Singleterry from Edinburg, TX, with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents Jose Eliborio Garza and Narcisa Espitia, and a brother Juan Garza.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00-12:00 pm in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home at 205 N. 9th Avenue, Wauchula, Florida.

The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home at 205 N 9th Avenue, Wauchula, Florida.  The Burial will follow at Bowling Green Cemetery.
