Jose Alberto Garcia

Jose A. Garcia, age 31, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2026 in Bradford County. He was born on July 28, 1994 in El Monte, California. to Alberto and Maria Martinez-Garcia.

He lived 30 years in the community and enjoyed playing soccer, listening to music and spending time with family.

Jose's Family will remember him as happy, friendly, loving, brave and hard working.

He is survived by his mother; Maria Martinez-Garcia, father; Alberto Garcia, daughter; Layla Garcia, brothers; Miguel Garcia and Ricardo Garcia-Martinez, nieces and nephews; Matteo Garcia, Micah Garcia and Mireya Garcia.

He was preceded in death by, Norma Machuca Martinez, Ma Guadalupe Villafuerte Castillo and Crisoforo Martinez Rodriguez.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00am-12:00pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 205 N. 9th Ave Wauchula, funeral services to follow at 12:00pm in the Chapel.

Interment will follow at Bowling Green Cemetery.
