Jose Angel Cabrera, age 70, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Weslaco, Texas on December 5, 1954, to Arturo Cabrera and Antonia Rodriguez.

He had been in the community for 60 years. He enjoyed watching Sports, doing crossword puzzles, reading books, watching Western movies, and listening to Tejano music.

He will be remembered by his family as a Great Father, Grandfather, Son and brother and a faithful man.

He is survived by his father, Arturo Cabrera of Wauchula, Fl, children, Roy (Virginia) Briseno of Bowling Green, FL, Arnesto "Ernie" Briseno of Marion, Indiana, Michelle (Devlin) Jones of Marion, Indiana, Raynaldo (Blanca) Cabrera of Bowling Green, FL and Joel (Jessica) Cabrera of Sebring, FL. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Arturo (Rose) Cabrera Jr., Ralph (Patricia) Cabrera, Patricia Cabrera, and Vincent Cabrera.  There are 24 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren that will miss him as well.

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 205 N. 9th Avenue, Wauchula, FL 33873. Father Wilner Durosier will be officiating the services.
