Jonathan C. Payne, age 49, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Bradenton, FL. He was born February 7, 1962 in Erie, PA and moved to Arcadia 30 years ago from Pennsylvania. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Arcadia. Jonathan was a very loving and caring husband, father, son and brother and will be missed by his family. He work in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator, in his time off he enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie L. Payne of Arcadia, FL., three sons Shane Allen of Wolcott, NY, John Carter and Jonathan Payne, Jr. both of Arcadia, FL.; three daughters Sandra Allen of Nettleton, MS, Phyllis Carter and LeeAnn Payne both of Arcadia, FL.; his mother Mavis L. Payne of Arcadia, Fl.; two brothers Kenneth Payne and James Payne, two sisters Brenda Diaz of Tampa, FL. And Deborah Mothershed of Orlando, FL, eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Jonathan s life will be Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church, 1006 N. Brevard Ave., Arcadia, FL.
