Obituary

Johnny Edward Herren, age 75, of Arcadia, FL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  He was born to Oscar and Betty Herren on February 16, 1951.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Connie. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Piper and Carter in Ft. Myers, FL, sister Becky in Michigan and stepsister Teresa, in Florida, sisters-in-law, Nancy Corbin in Arcadia, FL, Robin Hawkins in Nocatee, FL, and Vonnie (Ed) in Pt. Charlotte, as well as nieces, nephews and good friends.

He was a man of few words but with a good heart. He enjoyed being outside with family and friends, deer hunting, boating, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed watching the news and westerns, Gunsmoke being one of his favorite TV shows.  He loved his cats.  He was a master at the grill, cooking the best steak you would ever want.

He was a dedicated employee of Sun Bulb Company, INC. for 32 years serving as Maintenance and had a green thumb growing beautiful plants at his own home.

He was preceded in death by both his parents Oscar and Betty; his stepmom Nell; his stepsister Stacy; and his daughter Lisa.

We are honoring his wishes to be cremated with no service to follow.
