Johnie Morgan, 77 of Shirley, AR formally of Arcadia passed away, April 12, 2008. He was born September 29 1930. Rev. Morgan was an ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He lived all of his life in Florida until his retirement in 2007 after 46 years of pastoral ministry then he moved to Shirley, Arkansas. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed the out doors. He is survived by his beloved wife Ruth; two sons, John (Betsy) And Bruce (Joanne); and five grandchildren. Our loss is heaven s gain! A service celebrating the life of Rev. Johnie Morgan will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Arcadia Church of God. Burial will follow at Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton, FL.
