John was born in Fairfax, Virginia, February 1, 1963 and was a lifelong resident in the community.

John was an electrician by trade and enjoyed boating, football "Miami Dolphins" and playing pool and corn hole. One of his other joys was taking care of family and friends. He was also a member of the Orioles club in Arcadia, Florida.

His sons and daughters include, John Roan II, Nathan John Roan (Samantha) of Arcadia Florida, Brandon Gary Cole Roan and Justin Testermann both of Bigelow, Arkansas, and Meagan Plymale of Arcadia, Florida.

He is also survived by his loving wife Rhonda Roan , daughter Kimberly Forgione, brother Bill Roan of Sarasota, Florida and sister Becky (Steve) Bishop of Arcadia, Florida.

John has six grandchildren that he loved dearly, Cole Owens, Jett Roan, Bridgett Bozeman, Ashton Miller, Alyx Forgione, and Joey Forgione.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Phil Roan, and Paul Roan and two sisters Betty Phillips and Roberta Roan.  His parents also preceded him in death, Bobby Roan and Betty Howard Roan.

He also has numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
