John Will Caraway, Jr., age 83, Arcadia, Fl. passed away July 2, 2009 in Port Charlotte, Fl. John was born in Enterprise, Al. July 23, 1925 moving to Arcadia in 1966 from Polk County, Fl. John was a grove caretaker. He was a very hard worker and good provider for his family. When he wasn t working, John could be found watching the television or spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith. John is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Kressie Caraway, Arcadia, Fl., four sons; Charles Larry, Roger (Bonnie) , and Tom Caraway, all of Arcadia, and Tony Caraway, Williston, Fl. He also leaves two sisters; Odie Lee Guledge, Chiefland, Fl. and Edna Earl Magher, Huntsville, Al., 7 grandchildren and nine great grand children. He is preceded in death by a bother, P. L. Caraway. Private memorial services will be held, Thursday, July 23, 2009.
