John Paul Addison age 70 passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in Arcadia, Florida. He was born on November 12, 1952, in Brunswick, Georgia to Melvin Cecil Addison and Elizabeth Rowland Addison.

He lived in the area for eight years and had moved here from Brookeville, Ohio. John Paul enjoyed fishing, playing music and every aspect of dealing with his guns. He enjoyed life and the events that it brought his way.

He is survived by his son Aaron Walker Addison of Brookville, Ohio, his brothers Fred Allen Addison, Arcadia, Florida and Clifford Addison of Winter Haven, Florida and Lee Agnew of Winter Haven. He also has one grandchild, Ava Addison of Beaufort, South Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elizabeth Rowland Addison.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church Charlotte Harbor, 4506 Church St, Charlotte Harbor, Florida 33980.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church Charlotte Harbor, 4506 Church St, Charlotte Harbor, Florida 33980. Burial will be in Charlotte Harbor Cemetery.
