Joe Mitchell Turner, Jr. "Buddy", 85 of Arcadia, Florida passed away peacefully at Tidewell Hospice of Arcadia on Saturday November 1, 2025. Born on June 4, 1940, in Ocala, Florida to the late Joe and Coleda Coker Turner. He served in the US Army for four years and retired from United Telephone/ Sprint after 30 plus years. He was a man of strong Christian faith and devotion to his family. The love he showed his wife, children, and grandchildren was unmatched and will never be forgotten.

He is the beloved husband of Debbie Lynn Turner, they were happily married on April 16, 1994.

Joe is survived by his children: Robert Turner (Rosie) of Titusville, FL., Dreana "D.Anne" Turner of Arcadia, FL., Chris McElroy (April) of Tampa, FL., and Stacey Croy, (Dale) of Arcadia, FL.; Grandchildren: Chelsea Wheeler (Brandon), Zachary Turner, Tyler Chandler (Hannah), Taylor Chandler, Justin McElroy, Ryleigh McElroy, Ansley Croy, Max Croy, and Addison Croy. Three great-grandchildren as well as his sister: Lucky Turner Coker.

Joe was proceeded in death by his sister: Dottie Turner Watson.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1:00pm.
