Joan Vivian Keenan, age 76, of Arcadia, Florida, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 from a brief illness.  Joan was born April 24, 1946 in Brockton, Massachusetts, to the late Thomas and Rita Bureau Harding.

Joan moved to the DeSoto County area thirteen years ago from Vermont.  She was a college graduate, having received a degree in Economics.   She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending quality time with her family and her neighbors.  She also enjoyed yard sales and going to the flea markets.

Survivors are one son, Brin (Jessica) Keenan, Hartland, Vermont, one daughter, Kathleen Keenan, Vermont, one brother Peter Harding Vermont, and three sisters, Rowena Harding, Bradenton, Florida, Julie (Neil) Davis, Maine, and Louise Harding of North Carolina.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Andrew and Dillon Keenan and Savannah Monroe.

A "Celebration of Life" will be conducted in Vermont at a later date.
