Jesse A. Boone passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at DeSoto Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident in the area, living in Kinsey in DeSoto County. Jesse was born in Bradenton, Florida.

He worked in the Food Industry in the restaurant field. He loved grilling and cooking for his family and occasionally left a mess! He graduated from DeSoto County High School and went on to continue his education at South Florida State College. He was also an accomplished writer. He had a novel published and a book of Poetry as well as being a ghost writer on several other novels. He was also an accomplished song writer. He was highly intelligent and a very creative person.

He was a member of the Limestone Baptist Church. His faith was very important to him and he had accepted his Lord and Savior at an early age. He had a great love for animals especially his cat "Lord Greystroke".  He had a great fondness for the outdoors as well as, fishing, camping, music and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Brant Boone and his loving parents Franklin (Tim) Boone and Linda Wood Boone of DeSoto County..

There are numerous cousins and many friends. His Aunts and Uncles include Nita Johnson,  Derick and Darla Boone and Randy Boone all of Arcadia, Florida. Also included in his Aunts and Uncles are Elaine and Barry Kidd of Rochelle, Georgia and Larry and Shirley Wood of Pinecrest, Florida, as is Charlie Wood of Arcadia.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Preston and Audrey Wood as well as Franklin and Janet Boone.

If you ever met Jesse you never forgot him, he was loved by many!

A celebration of life will be held on February 12, 2022 at 11:00am at Limestone Baptist Church, 4868 Keystone Ave., Ona/Limestone Community with Rev. Jerry Waters and Rev. Dwayne Willis officiating..
