Jerry L. White, age 66, passed away February 26, 2011 in Port Charlotte, Fl. Jerry was born in Princeton, IN June 16, 1944, moving to Arcadia from Port Charlotte, FL in 1982. Jerry was a carpenter working in the building industry. Jerry was a Vietnam Era Veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was an outdoors person. Jerry enjoyed fishing, growing roses, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Southern Baptist faith. Jerry is survived by his beloved with, Carolyn White, Arcadia, a son Christopher Lee (Lee) White, Arcadia, a stepson Daniel Moe, Ft. Meyers, FL, a stepdaughter; Tracey Lynn (David) Hoppel, Arcadia, FL. three brothers; Tom White, James White, and Robert White, all of Oregon and stepbrother Philip Tucker, Kansas., and a sister; Louise Perry in Indiana., four grandchildren; Lindsey, and Taylor Hoppel, Brittney Moe, and Aiden White. Jerry is preceded in death by his foster parents, Marion and Nadine Tucker and a son Jerry Lee White. Graveside Memorial services will be at 1:00PM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Pine Level Campground Cemetery with Reverend Jim Wade officiating. Burial will be in Pine Level Campground Cemetery.
