Jeremy Sean Evans, age 36, passed away on November 18, 2021, in Arcadia. He was born on July 31, 1985, at Desoto Memorial Hospital to Mrs. Carol Washington and Mr. Robert Evans. Jeremy was a lifetime resident of our community.

He was educated in the Desoto County Scholl System.  He worked various occupations in Food Service.  Jeremy had a loving-kind and quiet personality.  He rarely met strangers.  He loved people and loved music; he even rapped a few times himself.  Jeremy accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at a young age at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Mr. Linsey Flemming, his Grandmother Mrs. Jerilene Flemming, and Aunt Miss Christine Flemming, and Godfather, Mr. James (Tony) Greene.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife Mrs. Jolanda Evans, His Father's and Mother Robert Evans and Charles(Carol) Washington, Grandparents Robert, and Eliza Evans, (2) daughters Ayanna Evans and Raylyn Lee, A brother Mr. Charles Washington and Jr., Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law Mr. Pedro Gacia and Mrs. Martha Kellow, Stepson Angel and stepdaughter, Givonnia and His Godmother Mrs. Kari Watson.  Special Uncles Mr. Earnest Palmer, Gary, Jermaine, Terry, (4) Devoted Aunts, Ms. Linda Dunter, Mrs. Marilyn Flemming (Bobby) Ridley, as well as Ruby and Patricia. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces Cousins, and a host of sorrowing friends.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. The Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm on Friday at the chapel with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, 601 N. Johnson Ave., Arcadia.
