Jean L. Yeaster, age 83, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away, Feb. 12. 2009 in Port Charlotte, Fl. jean was born in Lapeer, Michigan June 2, 1925 moving to Arcadia 20 years ago from Flint, Michigan. Jean worked was a barmaid, who, according to her husband, Dale, was very good at her job. Jean enjoyed entertaining and having fun with her friends and in her younger years, she enjoyed bowling. Jean was a former treasurer of the Arcadia Village Mobile Home Park Home Owners Association and started the first Welcome Wagon in the park. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Arcadia, Fl. Survivors are; her beloved husband Dale H. Yeaster, Arcadia, three sons; Allen (Nelia) Pippins, Branch, Mo., Jimmy Pippins, Ohio, and Larry (Lynn) Yeaster, McCormick, SC. Two daughters; Shirley (Anthony) McQueen, Pasadena, TX, and Carol (Phil) Bailey, McCormick, Mo. and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 from 10:00AM. until 12:00Noon from Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Fl. Memorial services will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, Feb, 18, 2009 at Trinity United Methodist church with Rev. Jim Wade officiating.
