Jean Ellen Peckham, age 77, passed away May 1, 2011 in Arcadia, FL. Jean was born May 17, 1933 in New haven, CT. She moved to Arcadia 24 years ago from Killingworth, CT. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of Eastern Stars. Jean was a member of the Nocatee United Methodist Church, Nocatee, FL. Jean is survived by her husband William Bill R. Peckham Sr., Arcadia, FL, two sons; William R. Peckham, JR., Middleton, Ct., Scott E. (Barbara) Peckham, No. Bradford, Ct., two daughters; Dawn E. (Thomas) Fredrickson, Arcadia, FL, Cindy M. (Irvin) Brainard, Harrison, Michigan, one brother; Edward W. (Judy) Scott, So. Meriden, CT., two sisters; Betty Brissell, Bristol, CT., Cora (Kent) Peckham, West Haven, CT. seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Harriett Scott and a sister Doris Strampach. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be at 11:00AM,Saturday May 7, 2011 at Nocatee United Methodist Church, Nocatee, FL with funeral rites rendered by the Order of Eastern Stars, and on May 17, 2011 at the Killingworth Congregational Church, Killingworth, CT.
