Jean B. Iverson, age 94, passed away on December 30, 2022. Jean was born on November 24, 1928, in Haines City, Florida to Felton H. Bacon and Thelma D. Bates. She graduated from Haines City High School in 1946.

She worked as a secretary for a number of years in the Transportation Industry prior to retiring. She participated in the Evangelical Free Church in Leesburg, Florida.

Jean enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch and playing cards and Board games, as well as crafts of all kinds.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook and teach her family new games to play.

She is survived by her husband Arthur Kenneth Iverson, daughter Jari Francis and son David Costner, both of Arcadia, Florida. Jean had six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Her grandchildren are David A. Dismuke, Shelby T. Dismuke, Jamie L. Polizzi, Trey W. Dismuke, Adam Costner, and Dylan Seitz.

She is preceded in death by her parents Felton and Thelma Bacon and a daughter Judi Costner Seitz.

There will be a Memorial Service on January 28, 2023, at 10:30AM at the New Day Christian Church, located at 20212 Peachland Blvd., Port Charlotte, Florida 33954.
