Janet Finger Miller, age 85 of Zolfo Springs died Friday, March 17, 2023, in Arcadia, Florida surrounded by family. She was a 1956 graduate of Lakeland High School and a resident of Hardee County for 49 years, coming from Polk County in 1964.

Janet was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from a career as a bookkeeper for Walter Farr and the Carlton Family. She will be remembered for a strong work ethic and her dedication to her family.

She enjoyed jitterbug dancing with her husband Bubba and entertaining friends and family at their home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin (Bubba) Miller.

She is survived by her sister Frankie Hooks of Lakeland, Florida; daughters Kim Thomas of Noble, Oklahoma and Tamme Fussell (Jimmy) of Arcadia, Florida and one son Kenny (Kelley) Miller of Wauchula, Florida. Grandchildren Matt Ferguson (Martina) and Marsee (Hunter) McCown; Jamie Fussell (Bryn) and Corey Fussell, John Andrew Miller, Daniel Miller (Emily) and Savannah Holliday (Jonathon); great-grandsons Kellen McCown, Maverick Ferguson, and Preston and Layton Miller.

There will be a Visitation at 10:00a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with the Funeral services to follow immediately at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Wauchula, Florida.  Interment will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Pastor Jim Davis will be officiating.
