Janet Baltzer Collins passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, in Lakeland, FL. She was born in Seward, New York, on November 4, 1932, to William Baltzer and Emma McBowen Baltzer.

She had lived in the community for many years and was the Owner and operator of a Dental Office in the area.

Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Wilbur Collins, and her son Scott Collins.

She is lovingly survived by her children; Daniel “Mickey” Collins, David Collins and Leslie Collins (Len) Miller. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Chuck (Natalie) Collins, Lisa (Alex) Olsen, Robert (Brittani) Locklar, Savannah (James) Chancey, Steven Locklar, Ashley Smith and William Collins.

Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren; Taylor Hays, Jaymie Chancey, Turner Chancey, Lauren Collins, Ryan Collins, Archie Olsen, Hadley Locklar, Kenzie Locklar, Harper Locklar and Ryla Smith.

There was a private graveside service held on August 8, 2026, in Live Oak, FL.
