James "Jim" Edward Badgley, 79, of Arcadia, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 16th, 2025. Jim was born on March 6, 1946, to George "Bud" Badgley and Ruth Lakes Badgley in North Vernon, Indiana.

Jim was a true Florida cowboy, entrepreneur, business owner, truck driver, and heavy equipment operator. Although many years of his life were lived in Okeechobee and Arcadia, Florida, he spent his final golden years living his dream at his "off-grid" camp in the country. He loved spending time with family and friends as often as possible, always watching over and protecting the ones he loved.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, sister Sharon "Sherry" K Badgley, and brother Robert "Bob" Bullock. He is survived by his five children, Jeanie Beth Caracciolo, Rhoda Decoteau, Edward Fisher, Sharon Bryant, and Jamie Greubel, his 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and countless additional extended family and close friends.

Services will be held graveside at Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida, on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at 10:00 am.
