James Matthew Barr, age 59, passed away February 12, 2025 in Sebring Florida. He was born in Altoona Pennsylvania to Thomas Barr and Sonja Frankie on July 25, 1965.  James has lived in this community for over 20 years, was employed by Peace River Citrus.

James loved going fishing, and going out on his boat, spending time with his grandkids, who affectionally called him Papa Jim.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Lorrie Barr, children John VanSickle, Bobby VanSickle, Siblings Mark Barr, Jerry Barr, Nancy Barr, and Tommi Barr, along with five grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents Thomas Barr and Sonja Franke, sister Ruth Barr, and son Justin Barr.

Celebration of Life will be at the Moose Lodge on March 1, 2025 at 3:00pm.
