James A. Albritton, age 51, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home in Arcadia after a severe prolonged illness. He was born October 13, 1960 in Arcadia and a lifetime resident of the community. James was a member of First Christian Church of Arcadia. James was an insurance agent during his working career, but had to take early retirement due to his health.He loved spending time with his children and family. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and his little dogs. James is survived by two children Matthew J. Albritton and Megan R. Albritton both of Fort Myers, FL; his parents Sidney L. and Gladys Cline Albritton of Arcadia, FL; one sister Cathy Edwards of Arcadia, FL. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00AM at the First Christian Church, 34 El Verano Ave., Arcadia with Brother James Cline and Rev. Ron York officiating.
