Jacqueline Patricia Marie Jackie Greer, age 51, passed away in Arcadia, Fl. September 5, 2009. Jackie was born in Paris, France October 1, 1957, moving from Ohio to Arcadia in 1988. Jackie worked as a store manager. She worked at Memorial Grammar School and the HRS for awhile. She was office secretary for First Baptist Church, Arcadia, for several years. She loved to sing, performing solos for her Lord whenever she was able. She sang with the choir at First Baptist Church, having to retire due to failing health. Jackie loved cooking and was especially happy when her family was all together, so that she could make their special meals. Jackie s life was one of giving. Her love for her friends and family was immeasurable. Jackie was a member of First Baptist Church, Arcadia, Fl. Jackie is survived by her beloved husband Alonzo Al Greer, Arcadia, Fl. two sons; Corey P. Edwards, Tampa, Fl. and Nathaniel R. Vinson, Arcadia, Fl., a daughter Malana D. Greer, also of Tampa, Fl. a brother Reverend Reginald Edwards, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and two sisters; Cynthia Edwards, Atlanta, Ga. and Adrian Edwards, Tampa, Fl. Her parents; Nathaniel and Julia Johnson Edwards, and five grandchildren also mourn her passing. A celebration of Jackie s life will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, September 12, 2009at First Baptist Church, Arcadia with Reverend Richard Englert and Reverend Reginald Edwards officiating.
