Jacqueline Kay
Fleming
October 10, 1944 – May 28, 2023
Fleming, Mrs. Jacqueline Kay (DeHollander) Arcadia, Florida.
Jackie, 78, passed away on May 28, 2023, from complications of open-heart surgery.
Jackie was born October 10, 1944, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She lived most of her life in Richland and Delton, Michigan until her retirement years. Her family was the most important part of her life. Jackie loved the country life, full of many animals of all kinds. She enjoyed simple things such as good coffee and fresh eggs, sitting on the porch during thunderstorms, and reading a good book. Jackie was not fond of winter though, which led her to sunnier pastures in Florida where she was blessed to fall in love and become the wife of Steve Fleming. Although there was distance between Florida and Michigan, Jackie shared all her joy and happiness with Kelly, her daughter and Lyndsey, Steve's daughter in California through photos and videos. Love has no limitations.
Jackie and Steve married on July 6, 2018, in Arcadia, Florida surrounded by friends. They found love and joy together on a wonderful journey that was far too short of what they both dreamed of and desired. They planned for a long and loving future with family and friends on both sides. Jackie and Steve loved each other with all their hearts, confirming to each other many times a day, trying to make up for lost time.
They enjoyed their life together, spending their days tending to their home and yard full of flowers. They lovingly cared for their animals, Jasper the dog and Lulu the cat along with their chickens and cows who were more than just farm animals, all cared for with love and compassion.
As per Jackie's wishes she will be cremated.
RIP Jacqueline Kay Fleming.
Loving you forever, Steve, Kelly (daughter) and Lyndsey (Steve's daughter).
