J. Nicomedes Garcia, age 72 passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Wauchula, Florida with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 15, 1949, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to the late Leovardo & Agustina Garcia.J. Nicomedes moved to Wauchula, Florida in 1996 and he worked his entire life in the construction field.

His greatest accomplishment was his two children. He was a member of Faith Temple Church of God and enjoyed listening to worship music, gardening, and most of all spending time with his loving family. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, generous hardworking man.

He is survived by his wife Isidra Castillo Garcia, two children, Julie (Jose) Guardiola and Mayda (Alex) Alamia, ten grandchildren; Dorian G. Pulido, Michael N. Garcia, Alejandra I. Alamia, Jose D. Guardiola, Alexandro D. Alamia, Alexandria J. (Rabin) Saucedo, Zachary J. Alamia and Lionso J. Alamia, Neyda Cardoza one great grandchild; Amillianna Alamia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leovardo & Augustina Rojas Garcia.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 8, 2021, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes 205 N. 9 ^th Ave., Wauchula. FL.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:00am at the Faith Temple Church of God, 701 N. 7 ^th Ave, Wauchula with Pastor Wendell Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Wauchula City Cemetery, Wauchula.
