Obituary

Ivanona Ward Martin age 79, was born in Holmes County, Florida June 07, 1942 and passed away at the Advent Hospital in Sebring Florida May 27, 2022.

She was a Baptist by faith, recently attending Lake Dale Baptist Church in Wauchula.
Nona was predeceased by her parents, Homer Ward and Candis Jenkins Ward and her brother-in-law, Reverend Jimmie Collins.
Nona is survived by her daughter, Amy Thomas, sister, Janice Collins of Arcadia Florida, Granddaughters, Candis Thomas and Maddie Thomas, Grandson Dylan Thomas and Great-grandson Gavin Thomas and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Nona loved to bake for her family, making many family wedding cakes. She spoke often about how she enjoyed working with Frieda Gill catering various events.
She will be greatly missed.
