Irene (Warren) Meehan, age 62, of Arcadia, FL, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Tidewell Hospice House, Arcadia. She was born on December 13, 1963, in Brooklyn, NY, and was the daughter of the late Theodore J. Warren and the late Marie (Meade) Warren. Irene had been living in Arcadia for the past 18 months. She had previously resided in Englewood, FL, for 30 years, where she worked in the mortgage industry, served as an officer of the BNI Paradise Coast Chapter for a number of years, and was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Prior to that she lived in Hamlin, PA, and Budd Lake, NJ.

Irene is survived by her beloved daughter Deborah Meehan and son-in-law Colin Hubartt; her loving grandsons Elliott and Warren Hubartt; her brothers and sister Theodore P. Warren and his wife Glenna of Hope, NJ, Janet Warren Dugo of Staten Island, NY, and her partner George Steele, and Kenneth C. Warren and his wife Clara of Mansfield, NJ; sisters-in-law Debra Warren of Oldwick, NJ, and D. Bouraine Smith and her husband Larry, of Port Charlotte, FL; brothers-in-law, Michael Meehan Jr. and his wife Christine of Port Charlotte, FL, and John Meehan and his wife Kirsten of Landing, NJ; along with many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and godchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years Richard "Ricky" Meehan, her brother Robert M. Warren, and her brother-in-law Nicholas J. Dugo.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 16, 2026, at 9:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Englewood, FL. A luncheon will follow from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the American Legion Post 113 at 3436 Indiana Road, Rotonda West, FL.
