Obituary

Howard P. Miller, age 74, entered into eternal peace on Friday, March 19, 2010 in Arcadia. He was born November 12, 1935 in Freeport, NY. Howard was a graduate of Hempstead High School in New York and attended college at Farmington, which he studied Advertising and Art. After college Howard joined the US Army and was stationed at Camp Leroy Johnson in Louisiana. He was awarded several decorations and medals while serving. Howard enjoyed Military History and creating military figurines that were featured in many books and stores in downtown Arcadia. He loved gardening and was a true friend to many neglected and abandoned animals. He also was a fine craftsman in restoring and refinishing antiques. He is survived by two daughters; Karen (Charles) Cibella and Melody (Kenneth) Seckler, five grandchildren; Stephen, Amanda, Tim, Kyle and Bradley. . He was a loving father, grandfather and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard P. and Ruth Miller, Sr., and three sisters; Ruth Brown, Dorothy Scott and Marilyn Williams Memorial Services and a Celebration of Howard s life will be announced at a later date.
