Hope G. Merritt, age 56, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Wauchula, FL. She was born on June 23, 1966 in Phoenix, AZ.  to Glenn Cochran and Nancy Franks Cochran. Hope moved to Winter Haven 40 years later settling in Arcadia where she remained.

Hope was a gracious and loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for them and doing special activities with her grandchildren. Hope had a love for animals, liked to shop and work crossword puzzles. Her favorite TV program was watching Matlock.

She is survived by her husband Stanley Merritt of Arcadia, FL., two daughters Tiffany Kinville and Alisha Seelinaer both of Arcadia, mother Nancy Cochran, brothers Jay Hancock of Arkansas and Danny Barns of California, sister Betty Jo Hancock of Arkansas, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 1:00p, until 2:00pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. 34266

Funeral Services to follow at 2:00pm at the chapel with Rev. Ellis Cross of N. Hillsborough Baptist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Hope's name to the charity of their choice.
