Hilda Medina Mejia, age 55, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2021, in Sarasota, FL. She was born on January 19, 1966, to J. Jesus Medina and Angelina Ochoa in La Lagunilla, Mexico. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia.

Hilda moved to Arcadia FL.in 1981 and she worked her entire life in the agriculture field. She became a homemaker in the last 3 years. Her greatest accomplishment was her 4 children. Her family will remember her as the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She always put others ahead of herself and was such a hard worker.  Her hobbies and interest were cooking for her family, shopping, couponing, and gardening.

She is survived by Jesus Mejia (husband) Angelina Medina (mother). Her children Eddie Mejia, Arcadia, Ana Lorena Mejia Arcadia, Yvonne Mejia Arcadia, Stephanie Mejia Arcadia. Her Brothers and Sisters: Silvia Gamez-Arcadia, Norma Medina Atlanta Ga, Saul Medina Arcadia, Maribel Carrillo Arcadia, Eloy Medina Arcadia, Oralia Ramirez Arcadia, Anna A Medina Arcadia. She had a very extended family Ignacia Mejia, Yolanda and Alejandro Mejia, Nadia and Raul Mejia, Esmeralda and Roque Mejia+, Marlen and Mayolo Mejia that loved her terribly she had 56 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by J Jesus Medina (father).

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary held at 6:30 pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. 34266

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 11:00 pm at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
