Helen Mae Vodden, age 103, went to be with our Lord on December 10, 2024. She was born November 11, 1921 in Lompoc CA and was a long-time resident of Goleta, CA. After retirement she lived in Grand Rapids, MN and Arcadia, FL. She lived at The Manor in Sebring, FL at the time of her death, and previously in Arcadia Village, Big Tree RV Resort, and Arcadia Oaks. She was a member of Fort Ogden Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mae Howerton, her husbands Eugene Lincoln, Frank Willey, and Duane Vodden, her brother Gordon Howerton, and a daughter, Kathryn Tindal.
Helen is survived by her daughters; Karen Kish, Arcadia, Janice Moore, Nocona, TX and Susan Storm, Northport, AL, as well as three favorite sons-in-law; Bob Kish, Kirt Moore and Mike Storm; 13 loving grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Helen was a beloved day care provider and worked in retail sales and apartment management. She enjoyed her pets, bowling, softball, playing cards, traveling the US with her husband, and wintering in Mexico. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and for her spunk and sense of humor. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
