Obituary

Helen Louise Grantham, age 76, passed away in Sneads, FL on Sunday, November 3, 2019 with her loving family at her bedside.  Helen was a resident of Arcadia, FL.  Helen was born August 21, 1943 in Lake Wales, FL. to the late Moke and Beulah McCrawford Mansfield.  She was a Registered Nurse.  Upon receiving her nursing degree, Helen worked at the G. Pearce Wood Hospital in Arcadia until her retirement.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, riding her golf cart throughout the neighborhood, and visiting her friends.  She also enjoyed her family gatherings.  Helen was a member of the First Baptist church of Fort Ogden.

Survivors are her son, David (Ellen) Grantham of Arcadia, FL; daughter Carolyn (fiancé Lowell Roberts) Rayl of Sneads, FL; and son Tracy (Dana) Grantham of Dadeville, Alabama.  She also leaves five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren to mourn her passing.  Helen is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Richard Mansfield; and one sister, Clara Jo Mansfield Albritton.

Visitation will be conducted on Friday, November 8th, 2019 from 10:00am until 11:00am, at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am at the chapel with Pastor Jerry Atkins officiating.
