Obituary

Helen Jean Frick passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Helen was born on August 2, 1929, in Kearney County, Nebraska to Larry and Sarah Binderup.

Helen married Wilbert Frick on September 26, 1948. They were married for sixty-two years. Helen lived in McCook, Nebraska for most of her life while running a produce farm with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Wilbert and Helen moved to Yuma Arizona after retiring from managing the Cedar Motel in McCook. She loved Bingo and was an avid player. Helen moved to Sarasota, Florida after the passing of her husband Wilbert. There she continued her love of bingo and enjoying time with her family.

Helen adopted a shitzu named Molly who was very much beloved before her passing.

Helen is survived by her three children Tom (Donita) Frick of North Platte, Nebraska, Cindy Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska and Nancy (Robert) Vontz of Arcadia, Florida.  Helen had a total of 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Shirley (Jim) Teeters of Yuma, Arizona and Judy Nordhausen of Wauneta, Nebraska, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Frick, her parents Larry and Sarah Binderup and her brothers Gordon and Bruce Binderup.

Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private ceremony in Culbertson, Nebraska.
