Hazel Dupree Blount, Jacksonville, FL died unexpectedly Thursday, August 4, 20211. Hazel was born January 13, 1924 in Ona, FL to Gary and Alvin Dupree. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 53 years, Luther W. Blount. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Appleby (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL, her sister, Lenore Freeman and brother Kenneth Dupree, of Blue Ridge, GA. Four grand children, Charlie Appleby (Elona) Athens, GA, Faith Kicklighter (Mark), Ft. Pierce, FL, Christopher Appleby (Melissa) Canton, GA, and Kelly McMinds, Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00AM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL.
