Hayward Harris passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, March 27, 2020. He was born in Nashville, Georgia on September 19, 1934 but had been a Hardee County resident the last 60 years. He enjoyed fishing and working in the yard.

Hayward leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Marie Harris; his daughter Colleen Collinsworth (Kelvin) of Avon Park, FL; his grandchildren Hunter and Hailey Collinsworth and Kyle Harris (Hope); great grandchildren Cheyanne and Jasmine; his step children Keith Reed (Maryanne) of Wauchula, FL and Tina Miller (Jeff) of Panama City, FL; step granddaughter Michelle Kilcrease (Jimmy) and step great grandson Ryan Kilcrease; his brother Herbert Harris of Nashville, GA and his sister Doris Medford of Wauchula, FL.

Hayward was preceded in rest by his daughter Teresa Harris and grandson Cory Smith.

Due to COVID 19 our State has regulated the number that may attend gatherings. Visitation and Funeral services will be for immediate family members only at Lake Dale Baptist Church in Wauchula, FL.
