Harry William "Bill" Southwell passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Bill was born on October 28, 1945 to William Frank Southwell and Ada Ruth Reeve.

He was a lifelong resident of Arcadia, DeSoto County. He graduated from DeSoto County High School class of 1963. He was a self-taught computer technician and worked as Computer Tech for the Board of Education. This ability to self-learn computer technology provided him with the ability to earn a living.

Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending quality time with this family. He was a member of the Kiwanis of Arcadia and attended Trinity Arcadia Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Linda Chezen Southwell of Arcadia, FL.; two sons, Michael (Yasemin) Southwell of Turkey, and William (Becky)  Southwell of Mississippi, Brother Arthur (Deana) Southwell from Arcadia, FL.; brother-in-law Tom Murphy, Arcadia, FL, Sister-in-law Jill  Southwell, of Wauchula, FL. and sister-in-law Raye Southwell of Arcadia, FL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Don and Jerry and sister Connie.
