Harry Murray, age 86, passed away September 24, 2010 in Arcadia, Fl. Harry was born January 21, 1924 in Atlantic City, NJ, moving to Arcadia from New Jersey 24 years ago. He retired as District Manager for a propane gas company. Harry was a member of the Peace River Carvers of Arcadia, FL, the Peace River Masonic Lodge #66, Arcadia, FL and a member of the Kingsway Baptist Church in the Brownsville Community, Arcadia, FL. Harry loved his Lord and was always eager to share God s goodness with everyone. Survivors are his beloved wife of 20 years, Betty Barger Murray, Arcadia, FL, a son Hal J. (Nancy) Murray, Georgia, a step-son; Taylor William Hubble, New Jersey, two step daughters; Serena (Mitch) Fincel, Sarasota, FL and Nana Lorraine Turner, Apopka, FL, four brothers; John A. Murray, Jr., Raymond Murray, Robert Murray, and Leslie Murray all of New Jersey, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Harry is preceded in death by his parents John A. and Mary Tallman Murray. Visitation will be conducted from 3:00PM until 4:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2010 from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be at 4:00PM, September 27, 2010 from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Jimmie Collins officiating. The Peace River Masonic Lodge #66 will render Masonic rites at the funeral home, burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donors favorite charity.
