Harriett Sue (Fisher) Duncan 61 of Arcadia died February 03, 2008 at home. She was born August 29, 1946 in Corydon, IN and moved to Bedford, IN following her graduation from Corydon Central High School. Harriett pursued a career in cosmetology spanning thirty plus years which included the operation of her own salon and teaching with the House of James and P J s Colleges of Cosmetology. On September 09, 1972 she married Farrell Dean Duncan in Bedford, IN where they resided until moving to Arcadia in 1996.Harriett s passions were Jesus, her family, and traveling. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church of Arcadia. Harriett is survived by her husband, Farrell Dean Duncan of Arcadia, FL, her children Daiquiri (Mary Ann) Duncan of Arcadia, FL and Desiree (Josh) Taves of Alexander, ND, her stepchildren Randy Duncan of Bedford, IN and Michael Duncan of Bloomington, IN, her grandchildren Lindsay, Ethan, Matthew, and Jacob Duncan of Arcadia, FL, Brittany and Bailey Taves of Alexander, ND and Sara Masterson of Ellettsville, IN, her father and mother Clifford and Mildred Fisher of Corydon, IN, her sister Judy (Bill) Miller of New Albany, IN, her brothers Max (Jan) Fisher of Lexington, KY and Harlan (Gerri) Fisher of Corydon, IN. In accordance with Harriett s wishes a private service will be held for her family. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations in Harriett s name be made to New Hope Christian Church at P.O.
