Harold B. McBee, age 69, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away Sunday October 26, 2008 in Arcadia. He was born November 15, 1938 in Newton Grove, NC and moved to Arcadia 30 years ago from Columbia, SC. Harold loved his family, and was a wonderful Christian man. He belonged to Cowboy s for Christ, works with the prison ministering, drove the van for the 1st Baptist Church for many years. Harold was a horseman, which he had several Quarter horses, and enjoyed fishing when he could find time. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he also worked for many years and retired as a lineman for FPL. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline F. McBee of Arcadia, Fl., four sons Harold B. (Angela) McBee, Jr. of Port Charlotte, Fl., Jeffrey D. McBee of Arcadia, Fl., Phillip D.(Janet) Harrison and Jeffery L. (Amy) Harrison both of Roanoke Rapids, NC., one daughter Heather F. McKeel of Roanoke Rapids, NC., one sister Delbra(Gene) Davis of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and eight grand children Briggs, Essie, Evan, Kendall, Bryce, Jeffery, Holly and Kellie. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry B. and Bettie L. McBee and a daughter Essie Lynn McBee. Memorial Services and a celebration of his life will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Pine Creek Chapel Mennonite Church at 2:00PM located at 1267 Pine Creek Drive, Arcadia, Fl. with Rev. Jeff Linthicum, Rev. Mickey Evans and Rev. Richard Englert, officiating.
